1. About these Terms

These Terms of Use apply when you visit, browse, register with, submit content to, advertise on or otherwise use LifeHere.org and any related Life Here services.

By using Life Here, you agree to these Terms. If you create an account or submit a listing for an organisation, business or another person, you confirm that you have authority to act for them.

Life Here is a local listings and discovery platform created and owned by Kazu Kawaii.

The website at LifeHere.org is operated and administered by:

JEJO INNOVATION LTD
A private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 08814387.

For the purposes of these Terms, “Life Here”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Life Here as operated and administered by JEJO INNOVATION LTD.

JEJO INNOVATION LTD is responsible for the technical operation of the website, account administration, support systems, listing administration, payment administration where applicable, platform communications, complaints handling and official contact channels.

Kazu Kawaii is the project owner and public editorial identity for Life Here, but official communications, complaints, privacy requests, legal notices and platform support requests must be directed to JEJO INNOVATION LTD using the contact methods stated in these Terms.

Our Privacy Notice and any additional terms shown when purchasing a paid service also form part of your agreement with us.

2. What Life Here Provides

Life Here is a local discovery and listings platform. It helps people find and advertise things such as:

• Property
• Jobs
• Marketplace items, including vehicles & services
• Places
• Events

Life Here provides the platform through which listings can be published and discovered. Unless we expressly state otherwise, we do not own, supply, inspect or control the property, products, services, jobs, events or businesses advertised by users.

A listing appearing on Life Here does not mean that we recommend, approve, verify or guarantee the advertiser or anything being advertised.

Life Here is not a seller, employer, recruiter, property agent, broker, licensing authority, inspector, escrow provider, financial adviser or professional adviser unless we expressly state otherwise.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your account details reasonably up to date.

You are responsible for:

• Activity carried out through your account
• Protecting your password and login details
• Informing us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission
• Making sure that anyone using your account is authorised to do so

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. Where a user is not legally able to enter into this agreement independently, a parent, guardian or other authorised person must act for them.

Accounts must not be transferred, sold or used to impersonate another person or organisation.

4. Listings and Other User Content

You remain responsible for every listing, image, document, message, review or other item that you submit to Life Here.

You confirm that:

• The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You have the right and authority to publish it.
• It does not infringe another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
• It is not misleading, fraudulent, unlawful or materially incomplete.
• You will update or remove it when it is no longer current or available.
• Any prices, fees, dates, conditions and important restrictions are stated clearly.
• Any photographs genuinely relate to the listing, unless an image is clearly identified as illustrative.
• You must not deliberately place a listing in the wrong category, use misleading keywords or create duplicate listings to gain additional exposure.

5. Responsibilities for Particular Listings

Property

You must have the owner’s or another authorised person’s permission to advertise the property.

You must accurately identify whether you are acting as an owner, landlord, agent, developer, property manager, current tenant or another type of advertiser.

Property descriptions, prices, availability, photographs, fees and material conditions must be kept current.

Life Here does not act as a property agent or broker unless expressly stated. Users must make their own checks before paying a deposit, signing a contract, attending a viewing, transferring money or entering into any property arrangement.

Jobs

Job advertisements must relate to genuine and lawful work.

Employers, recruiters and advertisers must have authority to advertise the position and must describe the role, location, work pattern, pay and important application conditions honestly.

Job listings must not disguise unlawful activity, sexual services, exploitative work, trafficking, fraudulent recruitment or schemes requiring misleading payments from applicants.

Listings must relate to lawful work. Sexual services, escorting, paid companionship, disguised adult-service advertising, exploitation, trafficking and any unlawful or unsafe work are not permitted.

Life Here may refuse publication, remove listings or suspend accounts where a job, service or opportunity appears to breach these rules.

Marketplace items and vehicles

You must own the item or have permission to sell, rent or advertise it.

You must accurately describe its condition, ownership, price and any important defect or restriction.

Services

Service providers must describe what is offered, who provides it, where it is available and how pricing is calculated.

Listings must not falsely claim licences, qualifications, experience, certification, insurance or professional status.

Service listings must not be used to advertise sexual services, escorting, paid companionship, erotic massage, disguised adult-service advertising or any exploitative, unsafe or unlawful work.

Events and places

Organisers and advertisers must provide accurate dates, locations, entry conditions and contact details.

You are responsible for obtaining any permissions, licences or approvals required for an event or activity.

Event and venue listings must not promote unlawful activity, unsafe activity or misleading attendance, pricing or entry information.

6. Regulated, Restricted and Safety-Sensitive Listings

Life Here is a listings and discovery platform. We provide a place for users to publish and discover lawful local listings, but we do not act as the seller, employer, recruiter, property agent, broker, licensing authority, inspector, escrow provider, financial adviser or professional adviser unless we expressly state otherwise.

Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that every listing they submit is lawful and that they hold any licence, permit, registration, approval, certification, qualification, insurance or other authorisation required for the goods, services, work, property, event or activity being advertised.

A listing appearing on Life Here does not mean that Life Here has verified, approved, licensed, inspected or endorsed the advertiser, product, service, property, employer, event or opportunity.

Life Here does not routinely check every listing before publication. We may, however, review, restrict, remove or refuse any listing where we reasonably believe it may be unlawful, unsafe, misleading, exploitative, inadequately documented, unsuitable for the platform or damaging to user trust.

Restricted and regulated goods

Life Here does not allow listings for high-risk restricted or regulated goods.

These include, without limitation:

• Medicines, pharmaceuticals and prescription products
• Medical devices and medical equipment
• Health products, supplements, herbal products and weight-loss products
• Cosmetics, skincare products or beauty products making medical, therapeutic or exaggerated claims
• Chemicals, pesticides, hazardous substances or controlled substances
• Cannabis, cannabis-derived products, narcotics, psychotropic substances or drug paraphernalia
• Tobacco, vaping products, nicotine products or related accessories
• Weapons, ammunition, explosives or dangerous weapons
• Counterfeit, pirated, stolen or infringing goods
• Alcohol products, unless Life Here later publishes a specific written policy allowing a narrow lawful category
• Any goods requiring official registration, approval, safety certification or special legal permission where Life Here considers the listing unsuitable or too risky
• This list is not exhaustive. Life Here may remove any goods listing that appears to involve regulated, unsafe, illegal or legally sensitive products.

Services, jobs, property and other regulated activities

Some ordinary listing categories may involve legal duties, professional rules or licensing requirements. These may include property, jobs, recruitment, transport, care services, childcare, beauty services, health and wellness services, events, tourism, financial services, legal services, immigration services, tax services and other professional or regulated activities.

Life Here does not verify professional status, licences, qualifications, insurance, permits or authority unless we expressly say otherwise.

Advertisers must not claim to be licensed, qualified, insured, authorised, registered or professionally approved unless that claim is true and can be evidenced.

Life Here may ask for evidence of authority, ownership, licensing, registration, certification, professional status, insurance or legal compliance where we consider it necessary. Failure to provide satisfactory evidence may result in refusal, removal, restriction, suspension or account closure.

Goods and services not permitted on Life Here

The following are not permitted on Life Here:

• Illegal goods, services or activities
• Stolen goods
• Counterfeit, pirated or infringing goods
• Weapons, ammunition, explosives or dangerous weapons
• Illegal drugs, narcotics, psychotropic substances or drug paraphernalia
• Cannabis, cannabis-derived products or controlled substances
• Tobacco, vaping products, nicotine products or related accessories
• Gambling, betting, casinos, lottery schemes or gambling-related services
• Sexual services, escorting, paid companionship, erotic massage, disguised adult-service advertising or sexual solicitation
• Pornographic or explicit adult content
• Human trafficking, exploitation, forced labour or unsafe work
• Get-rich-quick schemes, pyramid schemes, fraudulent investment offers or misleading income opportunities
• Goods or services making miracle, guaranteed or unverifiable health, beauty, financial or performance claims
• Goods, services or content that promote hatred, violence, self-harm, harassment, unlawful discrimination or serious public harm
• Anything that Life Here reasonably considers unsafe, exploitative, misleading, unlawful, unsuitable for the platform or damaging to users’ trust
• Pricing, fees and important information

Advertisers must provide accurate and transparent information about prices, fees, charges and important conditions.

Where a price, service charge, product detail, safety warning, licence number, registration number, label, standard mark or other information is required by law or by Life Here, the advertiser must include it clearly in the listing.

Advertisers must not use phrases such as “message for price”, “inbox for price”, “ask privately” or similar wording to avoid publishing information that should legally or reasonably be disclosed.

Where the price genuinely depends on the user’s requirements, the advertiser may state that a quote is required, but the listing should still explain the pricing basis clearly where possible.

Health, beauty and wellness listings

Health, beauty and wellness listings must not make false, exaggerated, guaranteed or unverifiable claims.

Advertisers must not claim that a product, treatment or service diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents a disease or medical condition unless the claim is lawful, properly authorised and supported by appropriate evidence.

Life Here may remove health, beauty or wellness listings that appear unsafe, misleading, inadequately qualified or legally sensitive.

Sponsored and paid listings

Sponsored, featured, promoted or paid listings remain subject to these Terms.

Payment for a listing or promotion does not guarantee publication, continued publication, a particular ranking, enquiry volume, sale, booking, response or immunity from moderation.

Life Here may remove or restrict a paid listing where it breaches these Terms or creates a legal, safety, regulatory or trust concern.

Platform discretion

Life Here may set stricter rules than the minimum required by law where we consider this necessary to protect users, comply with platform obligations, reduce fraud, maintain listing quality or preserve trust in the service.

We may update restricted-category rules, listing requirements and moderation standards from time to time.

7. Uploaded Documents and Links

Documents and external links must be relevant to the listing in which they appear.

Uploaded documents must not contain malware, harmful code, unlawful material or personal information that is unnecessary for the advertised purpose.

An employer should not request highly sensitive personal information from a job applicant before it is genuinely required and lawfully handled.

We may block, remove or disable any document or link that creates a security, privacy, legal or user-safety concern.

8. Prohibited Content and Activity

Life Here must not be used to advertise, promote, request or facilitate:

• Illegal goods, services or activity
• Fraud, scams, impersonation or deceptive schemes
• Stolen, counterfeit or unlawfully copied goods
• Controlled drugs or unlawful substances
• Weapons or other prohibited or dangerously regulated items
• Human trafficking, exploitation or forced labour
• Prostitution, escort services, sexual services or sexual solicitation
• Erotic or sexual massage
• “Money boy” services or similar paid sexual or exploitative arrangements
• Pornographic material
• Services presented as companionship, massage, modelling, entertainment or employment where their real purpose is sexual activity
• Hate speech, threats, harassment or targeted abuse
• Unlawful discrimination
• Dangerous services or products offered without required licences or safeguards
• Content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights
• Fake reviews, fake enquiries or artificial manipulation of views, rankings or engagement
• Data harvesting, scraping, automated account creation or interference with the website
• Malware, phishing or attempts to bypass website security
• Any activity that puts another person, particularly a child or vulnerable person, at risk

This list is not exhaustive. We may refuse content that we reasonably believe is unsafe, exploitative, misleading, seriously inappropriate or inconsistent with the purpose of Life Here, even where it is not specifically named above.

9. Communication and Transactions Between Users

Users normally communicate and transact directly with one another.

You are responsible for making your own checks before:

• Sending money
• Paying a deposit
• Attending a viewing
• Accepting employment
• Purchasing an item
• Booking a service
• Entering into a tenancy, contract or other arrangement
• Sharing personal or financial information

Important details should be confirmed directly with the advertiser. This includes identity, ownership, condition, price, availability, qualifications, permissions and contractual terms.

Life Here is not normally a party to an agreement between users and cannot guarantee that another user will complete a transaction or fulfil a promise.

Suspected fraud, abuse or unsafe behaviour should be reported to us promptly and, where appropriate, to the police or another relevant authority.

10. Automated Translation

Listings and other content may be translated automatically into additional languages.

Automated translation is provided to improve accessibility, but translations may contain mistakes, omissions or ambiguous wording.

Users should confirm important details directly with one another, particularly prices, dates, locations, legal conditions, employment terms, property conditions and safety information.

The original submitted language may take priority where a translation differs from it.

11. Publicly Sourced and Seeded Listings

Life Here may create informational listings using information supplied by organisers, businesses or other sources, or information that is lawfully available to the public.

A seeded or informational listing does not imply that the business, venue, organiser or other subject has endorsed, sponsored or partnered with Life Here.

An authorised owner or representative may ask to:

• Claim the listing
• Correct its information
• Provide updated information
• Request its removal

We may require reasonable evidence that the person making the request has authority to act for the relevant business, organisation, event or property.

12. Permission to Use Submitted Content

You retain ownership of content that you submit.

By submitting content to Life Here, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive and royalty-free permission to host, store, reproduce, display, format, resize, translate and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to:

• Operate Life Here
• Display and promote your listing
• Make content accessible on different devices
• Provide search and translation functions
• Promote Life Here and its available listings
• Maintain backups and records
• Investigate complaints or enforce these Terms

This permission continues while the content is published and for a reasonable period afterwards where copies remain in backups, records, search indexes or material already produced.

We will not claim ownership of your content merely because it appears on Life Here.

13. Intellectual Property Complaints

You must not upload content that you do not have permission to use.

A rights holder who believes that a listing, image, document or other material infringes their rights may contact us with:

• Their name and contact details
• Identification of the protected work or right
• Identification of the disputed content
• An explanation of the claimed infringement
• Evidence that they own or are authorised to enforce the right

We may remove or restrict disputed content while the matter is reviewed.

14. Listing Review and Moderation

We may review listings before or after publication.

We may edit formatting, correct obvious presentation problems, request additional information, change a category, restrict visibility or remove content where reasonably necessary.

We may reject, suspend or remove a listing where we reasonably believe that it:

• Breaks these Terms
• Is inaccurate, misleading, duplicated or outdated
• Creates a safety, security or legal risk
• Has received a credible complaint
• Is of insufficient quality or usefulness
• Does not fit the purpose or standards of Life Here
• Could harm users or the reputation or operation of the platform

We do not promise to review every listing and publication does not transfer responsibility for the listing to us.

Where practical and appropriate, we will explain significant moderation decisions and allow the account holder to contact us if they believe a mistake has been made.

15. Account Restrictions and Suspension

We may warn, restrict, suspend or close an account where:

• These Terms have been seriously or repeatedly breached
• False account or listing information has been supplied
• The account is connected with fraud, exploitation or unlawful activity
• The user threatens, harasses or harms other users or our team
• Payment obligations to Life Here remain unresolved
• The account creates a security or operational risk
• We are required to act by law, court order or a competent authority

In urgent cases, we may act without advance notice.

Where the issue can reasonably be corrected, we may allow the user an opportunity to provide information or remedy it.

Closing an account does not remove liabilities or obligations arising before closure.

16. Paid Listings and Promotional Services

Some Life Here services are free. Others may require payment, including featured, highlighted, sponsored, extended or customised advertising.

The applicable price, duration and included features will be shown before purchase or agreed separately.

Unless otherwise stated, a paid service begins when it is activated or published.

Paid promotion may improve visibility, but it does not guarantee:

• A particular ranking or position
• A particular number of views, enquiries or sales
• That a transaction will be completed
• That a listing will remain visible if it breaches these Terms

A paid listing remains subject to the same accuracy, legality and quality standards as a free listing.

Sponsored, promoted or featured placement may be identified as such where appropriate.

17. Refunds, Credits and Adjustments

Nothing in these Terms affects any refund or cancellation rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Where a paid service has not been provided as described, has been materially affected by a technical problem or has been purchased more than once by mistake, you should contact us.

We will consider refund, credit, extension or adjustment requests fairly and reasonably, taking into account what was purchased and what service has already been provided.

Where a listing or promotion has started on the wrong date, you should contact us promptly. Where reasonably possible, we will adjust its dates or provide another practical solution.

We may refuse a refund where a service was properly supplied but the listing was removed because the user breached these Terms.

18. Promotions and Early-Adopter Benefits

Life Here may provide introductory offers, discount codes, longer listing periods, founding status, free upgrades or other promotional benefits.

Promotional benefits:

• May be subject to separate conditions
• May be limited by time, location, category or user group
• Have no cash value unless expressly stated
• Must not be sold, duplicated or misused
• May be withdrawn where a listing is misleading, poor quality, inactive, unlawful or outdated

We may correct an obvious pricing, discount or promotional error before fulfilling an order.

19. Search Results, Recommendations and Ranking

Listings may be ordered, selected or recommended using factors such as:

• Search relevance
• Category
• Location and proximity
• Listing date or recent updates
• Availability or event date
• Completeness and quality of information
• User-selected filters
• Editorial selection
• Popularity or engagement
• Featured, highlighted or sponsored status
• Measures intended to reduce spam, duplication or manipulation

No advertiser is guaranteed a permanent position.

Life Here may change its search, recommendation and display methods to improve usefulness, quality, fairness, safety or website performance.

20. Reviews and Ratings

Where reviews or ratings are available, they must reflect a genuine experience and must not be bought, fabricated, manipulated or submitted to harm a competitor.

We may remove reviews that are abusive, irrelevant, misleading, unlawful or unsupported by any genuine interaction.

Life Here does not guarantee that every review is accurate.

21. External Websites and Services

Listings may contain links to external websites, application forms, payment services, maps, social-media pages or other third-party services.

Life Here does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, security, privacy practices, content or transactions.

You should review the terms and privacy information of any external service before using it.

22. Availability and Changes to Life Here

We aim to keep Life Here available and working properly, but uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed.

We may:

• Carry out maintenance
• Change, add or remove features
• Change listing categories or form fields
• Limit access during a security or technical incident
• Retire a service or part of the website

Where a material change affects an active paid service, we will take reasonable steps to provide an appropriate adjustment, alternative service, credit or refund where fairness requires it.

23. Our Responsibility

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits responsibility where doing so would be unlawful, including responsibility for fraud or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Life Here is responsible for providing its own platform services with reasonable care.

However, because listings and transactions are generally supplied or arranged by independent users, we are not responsible for:

• The accuracy of user-submitted information
• The quality, legality, safety or availability of an advertised item or service
• The conduct of another user
• A user failing to complete a transaction
• Loss caused by relying on information that should reasonably have been checked directly
• Problems arising on an external website or service
• Automated translation errors

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss of data arising from use of Life Here.

For a business user, our total liability arising from a paid Life Here service will not normally exceed the amount that the business user paid us for the service giving rise to the claim.

This section does not reduce any legal rights available to a consumer that cannot be excluded or restricted.

24. Reporting Problems and Making Complaints

You can contact us about:

• A misleading or unlawful listing
• Fraud or suspected exploitation
• Intellectual-property concerns
• Privacy or personal-data concerns
• Account suspension
• A payment or refund issue
• A listing that you own or represent
• Any other problem using Life Here

Reports should include enough information for us to identify and review the issue.

We aim to acknowledge ordinary support requests by the next working day. More complex complaints may take longer to investigate.

Urgent threats to safety should also be reported directly to the police or relevant emergency service.

Reports, complaints and support requests must be submitted using the official contact methods stated in these Terms.

25. Privacy

Our collection and handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Notice.

Users who receive personal information through a listing or enquiry must handle it responsibly and use it only for the relevant communication, application or transaction.

Advertisers must not add users to unrelated marketing lists without an appropriate lawful basis or permission.

26. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect:

• Changes to Life Here
• New services or listing categories
• Changes in law or regulatory requirements
• Safety, fraud or security concerns
• Improvements that benefit users
• Clarification of existing wording

The latest version will be published on LifeHere.org with its effective date.

Where a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to the attention of registered users before or when it takes effect.

Continued use after the effective date means that the updated Terms apply to future use. Changes will not remove rights that have already arisen.

27. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

We encourage users to contact us first so that we can try to resolve a complaint fairly and promptly.

Any court proceedings will be subject to the jurisdiction stated above, except where mandatory consumer law gives a user the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

28. General Terms

If one part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

A delay in enforcing these Terms does not mean that we have waived the right to enforce them later.

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our permission. We may transfer operation of Life Here to another organisation as part of a genuine transfer, restructuring or sale, provided users’ rights are not materially reduced.

These Terms do not create a partnership, employment relationship, agency or joint venture between Life Here and a user.

29. Language and Authoritative Version

These Terms are written and published in English. The English version is the only official and authoritative version and is the version that forms the agreement between you and Life Here.

Any translation displayed by Life Here, your browser, an automated translation service or any other third party is provided for convenience only. A translated version is not an official or legally binding version of these Terms.

If any translated wording differs from, conflicts with or can be interpreted differently from the English version, the English version will prevail, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

30. Official Communications with Life Here

To keep communications secure, traceable and efficiently managed, Life Here accepts enquiries, complaints, reports, privacy requests and other official communications only through:

1. The contact form on LifeHere.org; or
2. Written correspondence sent by post to the registered office of JEJO INNOVATION LTD.

The website contact form creates a support ticket, allowing us to record, assign and respond to enquiries consistently.

Life Here does not provide customer support or accept official communications through:

• Social-media direct messages or comments
• Telephone calls or voicemail
• LINE, WhatsApp, WeChat, Messenger, Telegram or other messaging services
• Personal accounts belonging to our directors, employees, contractors or representatives
• Email addresses that are not expressly identified by Life Here as an authorised contact channel
• Messages sent through an advertiser’s listing or account

These channels are not monitored for official Life Here communications. A message sent through one of them may not be read, retained, recorded, acted upon or treated as having been received by Life Here.

Anyone who contacts us through an unofficial channel should submit the communication again using the website contact form or by post.

We may respond to a contact-form submission by email or another suitable method using the contact information supplied by the sender. This does not make that response address a general channel for starting new enquiries unless we expressly state otherwise.

Nothing in this section prevents the valid service of legal proceedings, regulatory notices or other documents by a method that must be accepted under applicable law or court rules.
